UMBREACH

Beta Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-17 · Public beta · Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and whoever provides UMBREACH. They apply to the browser game (play.umbreach.com), the desktop app and the website umbreach.com. When you create an account you tick “I accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy”: that is when you accept them. If you don’t agree, don’t create an account or use the game.

1. Who provides the service

Provider: [MARCEL: legal name or company name]

Tax ID (NIF/CIF): [MARCEL: NIF/CIF]

Address: [MARCEL: full postal address, Spain]

Contact: support@umbreach.com

[MARCEL: if a company, Commercial Registry details; otherwise delete this line]

2. What the beta is

UMBREACH is in public beta: it is free, unfinished and changes often. Expect bugs, outages, crashed matches, server restarts and balance changes. During the beta we may reset progress (levels, credits, ranks, operators) if the game needs it; we will announce it beforehand whenever we can. There are currently no real-money purchases.

3. Who can play

You must be at least [MARCEL: confirm] 16 years old to create an account. If we have banned you permanently, you may not create another account.

4. Your account

5. Code of conduct

We want hard but clean matches. You may not:

6. Cheating

Cheating of any kind is forbidden: software or modifications that give an advantage (seeing through walls, aim assistance, macros or bots that play for you), modified clients, tampering with traffic to the server, knowingly exploiting bugs, playing on someone else’s account to raise their rank or letting someone do it for you (boosting), and match fixing. The server runs the match and logs data to detect cheating (see the Privacy Policy).

7. Sanctions and bans

If you break these terms we may, depending on how serious it is and whether it repeats: warn you, mute your chat or voice, remove progress or rank gained by cheating, suspend your account for a time or close it for good, and block connections (IPs) used to evade a ban. Cheating and serious harassment can lead to a permanent ban the first time. When we sanction you we will tell you the reason and the length. If you think it’s a mistake, you can appeal by writing to support@umbreach.com: a person on the team will review it.

8. User content (chat, names and maps)

9. What belongs to us

The game, its code, graphics, sounds, music, names, logos and the UMBREACH brand belong to the provider or its licensors. We give you a personal, free, non-exclusive and revocable licence to play. You may not copy, sell, decompile or modify the game, except where the law expressly allows it. You may record and publish videos and streams of your matches, including monetised ones, as long as you don’t suggest they are official.

10. The beta is provided “as is”

We provide the beta for free and as is, without guaranteeing that it will always work, be bug-free or never lose progress. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or for loss of progress, game data or opportunities. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited (for example, for intent or gross negligence, or for personal injury).

11. Changes and end of service

12. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you have a complaint, write to support@umbreach.com first and we will try to resolve it. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts where you live and you keep any protection the laws of your EU country of residence give you. [MARCEL: for non-consumers, courts of … (city); or delete this sentence]

If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest remains in force.
